Merry Christmas....and Happy New Year while I'm at it ;) This morning I was featured in a NYE segment on Channel 7. ANCHOR FREE. Yep, they trusted me to run the show on my own. It was a wee bit hectic giving that they were awaiting breaking news and had to switch things up a bit and use a hand held camera and a host of other things that made me a little more nervous than usual. But, I think I pulled it off ;) More than anything I ran out of breath near the end because I'm so used to having a anchor to banter with and I get a chance to take a breath and think of my next point of interest. But, I will say this---HOW FUN it was to be on my own with all the anchors watching me do my thing.
If you didn't have a chance to catch me bright and early (6am!) here are a few pics and recipes from the segment. If you did catch me live, yippie for you for waking up so darn early :) I hope you had a beautiful and bountiful Christmas morning AND I hope you enjoyed my segment.
Merry Christmas, and have a happy New Year!
OH! And check me out tomorrow, December 26th at 8am (channel 7) for a simple and easy tailgate segment!
